Nevada Becomes First State to Authorize Veterinarians to Use CBD

With the recent passing of AB101, Nevada veterinarians will now be able to recommend and administer hemp or cannabidiol (CBD) products, provided that they do not contain more than 0.3% THC, starting this October.

Breaking the deafening silence that many American veterinarians are facing when it comes to clarification on the rules, Nevada is leading the charge and giving clear guidance to its constituents.

This is a huge step forward for the veterinary medical cannabis industry, and will hopefully inspire legislators in other states to follow suit.
