Petsmart recently announced it will begin selling CBD (cannabidiol) pet products in select markets.
With this move, the nation’s two largest pet retailers (Petsmart and Petco) are finally embracing the potential of this industry. While not endorsing any of the specific products they are offering, it is encouraging to see these influential corporations taking steps to carefully evaluate product manufacturers and respond to the demands of American consumers. Pet parents will soon have improved access to products, however, they still need to do their own due diligence and evaluate any potential product they intend to use in their pet.
